I would recommend trying to kill as many processes running on your system as possible and even try and kill the host integration service and restart it and see if something works. The NIHostIntegration service is the one that detects and connects the hardware to the software so if you do not have that running (or something prevents it from functioning correctly) then your keyboard will do what it appears to be doing, nothing. You can actually have none of the ports selected and it still allows you to browse and load sounds, just obviously will not respond to MIDI if a port isn't selected. If you simply have your keyboard attached and start Komplete Kontrol then it should pick up the keyboard and instantly make everything start working. Selection of the MIDI ports makes no difference at all in regards to Komplete Kontrol detecting the keyboard as a hardware device. If you have the same issue with 2 different controllers then the issue is not with the hardware but the system somewhere. Is the keyboard detected as a hardware device?īasically from my experience, if you have the hardware detected as a Komplete Kontrol device in the system, the drivers are installed and functioning and the integration service is running then everything should be working.
